In short: this website uses no cookies, has no forms to fill in and collects no data for advertising or statistics. The only thing that happens when you visit it is what happens with any website: the server that hosts it records some technical data, to keep it running and protect it.

What data we process and why
When you open a page, the server that hosts the website automatically records some technical data: the IP address of your device, the date and time, the page requested and the type of browser. It is used only to keep the website running and to protect it from misuse. We do not use it to find out who you are and we do not combine it with other data.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the website working and secure (Article 6(1)(f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679, “GDPR”).
Who processes it for us
The website is managed on our behalf by Francesco Bresciani, who hosts it with Netlify, Inc. (United States): Netlify processes this data as a service provider, under its own data processing agreement.
The transfer of data to the United States is based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, in which Netlify participates; should it no longer be valid, the standard contractual clauses in its data processing agreement apply.
For how long
Netlify keeps these technical logs for a limited period, in line with its own policies, then deletes them.
Cookies
None. Even the website’s fonts are on our own server: opening the pages does not contact Google or any other external service.
Links to other websites
The “Directions” link opens Google Maps and the Instagram icon opens our profile. If you tap them, you leave this website: from there, Google’s and Instagram’s privacy policies apply.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use or object to its processing (Articles 15–21 GDPR), by writing to us or calling us at the contacts above. If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
